Lakeford Moving understands that moving places can be extremely stressful. Lakeford and its team prides theirselves on being a relief for some of the stress that comes with moving. Before each move, we walk and talk with clients to get to know the best method of making the process the least stressful it can be. Â
WHY CHOOSE US?Â
The founders took the knowledge they gained from being in the moving business for several years and applied it to Lakeford Moving. The biggest takeaway from their experience: "Make the environment enjoyable and make the moving process stress-free."

At Lakeford Moving, we may be a smaller moving company, but we’re proud to be one of the fastest-growing moving companies in Portland and the surrounding areas. As local Portland movers, we believe our size is one of our biggest strengths.
We know our crews. We know who will be showing up for your move, and we plan ahead to make sure the right team is assigned to each job. Instead of treating your move like just another job on the schedule, we take the time to understand what you need and prepare our crew accordingly.
We also understand that moving doesn’t always go exactly as planned. Closing dates change, schedules shift, there may be more to move than expected, and unexpected situations happen. That’s why we work closely with each individual client and do everything we can to find a solution when plans change.
For us, every move is personal. Our goal is to provide the professionalism and reliability you expect from a moving company while keeping the personal attention and communication you get from a local team that truly cares about the people we serve.
Your move isn’t just another job on our schedule — it’s our job to make it work for you. 971-299-2858
